In this project you need a lot of patience, why? Because it is easy to interview but it is difficult to find one.
On the day that our project is given, I was assigned to find one that we will interview, so I decided to go to San Pablo City because there are a lot of studios there and few company of video and photo editing and I am lucky because when I go to photoline in SM for scheduling they are so approachable and kind to me and the saleslady said that she will recommend to me their photographer for our interview, so I decide to schedule the interview next Wednesday because it is the only vacant that we have and it is ok for them.
(Wednesday) Our group meets in SM San Pablo at 12pm and going straight to photoline but sadly say, they don’t approach me and don’t even know me. We decided to do plan B(ambush interview) and our lucky ambush studio is the Exposure near the ultimart. This Video and photo editing studio specialized in wedding coverage. In this project I learned that failing is have important role in our lives, without it we don’t improved and learned from our mistakes.
CAS is FUN. Being a part of this department were the brainy, artist and beauty is here I am very proud to be a part of this family. I learned about how to be responsible and creative in every aspects of what I do. I remember when I accidentally joined the CAS pep squad, it was my first time to dance with them as a department, that time my talent in dancing starts to develop and its because of this department. And when I also unexpectedly joined the MR. CAS, my classmates and friends in other courses are very supportive.
CAS COURSES:
AB Communication. trains students to gain knowledge and skills for varied channels like print, photography, radio, television, theater, and film. It also provides practical experiences in public relations, advertising and development communication.

BS Psychology. educates students in the discipline of psychology while providing them exposure to courses in the humanities and social sciences.
CAS is FUN
Honestly, I dont attend this seminar but I was there at exact time in school. The seminar was delayed and I think it starts at 12:00? so I decided to leave school because I have to go to San Pablo and meet my mother for shopping at exactly 12:30,TIME IS GOLD.
The seminar last Saturday was very useful to us, because it contains many information about marketing and its strategy. I enjoyed listening to the speaker because she was so entertaining and wise person. She knows a lot in marketing but our time in the seminar doesn’t enough to discuss all that she was willing to shared with us. At last, I was surprised that the seminar had free foods =). This are what I learned from the seminar. In Trade Fairs, it is essential to your company to be present in this event, why? because almost all your competitors are there so you must need to know their strategies why they are stable company. You can find business partners in this that helps your company. Don’t forget your banners and calling cards when your company is joining this, it is very important because customers are requesting it for backup. Stealth or Undercover Marketing. They sell their products by acting. For example, I am hired as their actor for their brand new cellphone. What will I do? I will search for someone who can afford it and ask him to take a picture of me and my friends, after that I know that he was thinking about the cellphone because it is the first time that he seen it. The bad thing is you need much money for this because you are hiring people who can act.
First day, Saturday. I go to the seminar held at Audio Visual Room about screen-writing hosted by two AB Comm students and a guest speaker named Renato Custodio. First, I do not know why we are involved in this seminar but I realized that it is significant because we are working to our storyboard every project that we made. This screen writing needs positive thinker, much experience and advance mind to calculate the sequences and the situation properly. I enjoyed the seminar even if we are only two attending it.
Second day, Sunday. I planned to go to church and confess my sins but I feel lazy because it is raining outside, so I decided to install master collection of Adobe and after that I begun to explore everything and watched tutorials. When the night comes I
Third day, Monday. I spend my day playing computer, chess, basketball and volleyball with relatives and family, not realizing my priorities in life. When the night comes, I attended birthday party of my friend.
Fourth day, Tuesday. I realized that I am wasting my weekend in useless things instead of studying and advance reading lectures. MISSION FAILED. That’s life “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”……..

Every groups are well distributed. I don’t care where I belonged because I believed that our professor knows what’s best for us. I think we should organized ourselves and contributed our knowledge and ability for the betterment of our project. It should be a challenged to us because our BIG three leaders were united, this time we should be more responsible and make a good plan for our project.
At first, I am a little bit nervous who are my groupmates. I know that you feel that too. I was wondering why our new groupings had only three members and one of our groupmates is not attending class, its a big challenge to me and Ian to do project by just the two of us but we will do our best to come up with a good project.
We don’t know where to obtain a good and successful project and what the project should accomplish when it is completed. There are lots of things to be considered in planning these. A lot of ideas entered to our minds like what is our suppose to advertise in Lyceum and what is first thing to do.
Advertising our school by using digital signage required hard work, we need to manage our time wisely and think critically to obtain a good result.
BEAT THE HEAT
Business Information Systems is business on the Internet for the benefit of all. It is essentially electronic business. The horizon of e-business encompasses the globe, free from the limited scope of customary bricks and mortar shops. It is the selling of products and services online, which is termed also as e-commerce. Although the term “electronic commerce” is related more with business to consumer (B2C) applications IT has enabled this to cross over into the business-to-business (B2B) field as well. Through business information systems, purchasing processes are contoured to handle orders and their delivery, thus resulting in minimal paper work and labour required. Earlier, it was a practice to do business in hard copy for invoices and purchase orders. Now, documents in bulk, with particular format or data keying, are transferred electronically. A business can manage its Catalogue online by maintaining it up-to-date and current on its supplies, prices, discounts, without reprinting its catalogues. The Fine food Company, an established name in the food industry has finally made up its mind to run its business activities on the escalator of latest technology, to keep abreast with the changing times. Earlier, it was operating its business on a paper-based traditional set up. The company wants to increase its turnover by 10% and net profits to 9 per cent and hopes to be accredited for BS5750 within next 6 months. This decision of the management of the Fine Food Company (FFC) will certainly increase its reputation. A food conglomerate has to cater to a varied customer base through its shops and supermarkets, catering to standard and priority orders for quick delivery. A food company, working in a traditional set up has to handle its sales activities through its sales persons, who receive orders, payments, see through the orders to their fulfillment and answer routine questions. Customers are categorized geographically, depending on a customer’s type and product demand. A sales head can change his mindset to change a customer into a different category at any moment. The Fine Food Company has appointed an Information systems expert, to manage the affairs of the smooth running of its newly created IT department. In a paper-based communication, order processing can be quite a cumbersome procedure to follow. Order copies have to be retained by sales people and sent to the warehousing and distribution departments in date-wise format so that at the time of delivery, they are accompanied with an invoice and consignment note. The delivery man has to bring back a signed copy of the consignment. Warehousing involves keeping the produce in different temperature zones and shifting the goods to different locations, upkeep of raw products and finished goods. Card files have to be maintained manually whenever updating is required. David Jenkins has to see that all these complexities can be removed by opting for different solutions that go along with the FFC scheme to incorporate those software solutions with a range of proprietary software like Epicor eWarehouse. A food company’s manufacturing process involves simple repackaging to not so simple enlisting of detail of different recipes. Keeping this in mind, software should integrate with the central system. To run a micro supply chain, different interfaces are required for the stability of the product. Otherwise, the finances of a food company that is still working on obsolete, labour intensive framework, could be quite complex to handleBusiness Information Systems (Technology, development and management for the e-business.

Talking about money, money is a big part of business without money you cannot build your own business but there are company who lend you money for your business. They enter that business because it is new and they don’t like it because it is not their fashion.
